The LaCygne Ball Association is currently looking for volunteers to join our Board!

If you’re passionate about supporting youth sports, building community, and helping shape the future of our local ball programs, we’d love to have you on the team.

Board Member Responsibilities May Include:
• Assisting with league organization and planning
• Supporting events, fundraisers, and game days
• Helping make decisions that benefit our players and families
• Promoting a positive and fun environment for all participants

No prior experience needed—just a willingness to help and a heart for our community!

Forms should be coming home this week for elementary students. Middle school students can pick up forms in the office of the middle school later this week.

Well that’s a wrap! We wrapped up the 2025 season with a pool party followed by a movie at the softball fields! Everyone appeared to have a good time. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!

I want to be candid and share some disappointment in the lack of volunteer support this season. It’s been a tough year, and while I understand that everyone is busy, the success of our season relies on the support and involvement of our families.

We are hosting a tournament this weekend, and as of now, we have very few (if any) volunteers signed up. This is frustrating, especially when concerns about how the season is going are voiced by those who have not contributed. The reality is: a small group of dedicated individuals has been carrying the weight for everyone — and that’s simply not sustainable.

We need your help. Whether it’s working the gate, helping in the concession stand, or supporting set-up and clean-up, there are plenty of opportunities to step in and be part of the solution.

If you care about this program and want to see it continue, now is the time to show up. Please consider giving even a small amount of your time to help make this tournament a success.
