Tonight is the opening reception for a new show by Eva Black in the 4th Floor Gallery!

Dappled light is a collection of works that explores the spectrum of despair. Through expressive marks, vivid colors, and an honest reflection of the artist’s inner world, it’s a raw look at how embracing complex emotions creates more space for light.

On show at the Rivoli Arts Building, the work invites the viewer to experience the interconnection of visual and emotional spectrums, from dark to light.

We hope to see you tonight, but the show goes through July so you’ll have plenty of time to come see it again and again. The gallery is open on Saturdays from 11-4 and other times by appointment.

In Conversation: Artist Talks at the Rivoli Arts Building

Join us for In Conversation, a new artist talk series at the Rivoli Arts Building, featuring the artists currently exhibiting in our galleries. These informal talks offer a chance to hear directly from the artists about their work, process, and ideas.

Our first talk features Juliet Maya.

Single Action C**t

When wimpy Sheriff C**t moves to Dirty Creek, bandits make their way to town to take advantage.

Shot during the summer of 2010 in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin, with no budget, this “midwestern” entered the Green Bay Film Festival in 2011 and didn’t win a damn thing. Nonetheless, this campy take on spaghetti westerns is filled with bad acting, poor lighting, and a character who keeps springing up with no regard to realism...but its heart is in the right place...and sure to find a place in yours.

Less than a week away from our next First Friday open house 💖💖💖 There’s so much happening this month! As always this is your chance to explore, chat with our artists, check out their studios and buy art! There’s artist pop ups, collaborative art shows, and live performances in the building, swipe through to see the information on those. Our 4th Floor Gallery has show on display. There will be snacks, plus a bar for purchasing beverages on the second floor. Looking forward to another fun weekend with you all ✨

Thank you all for braving the rain to come hang out and enjoy art with us last Friday! We’re looking forward to another open house in May but please keep an eye out for private events hosted by our artists throughout the month.
