Providence Academy

Providence Academy The school is guided by a board of directors. We believe our low teacher-to-student ratio provides a unique advantage to the families of the Coulee Region.

Providence Academy is an independent, private, classical academy in the Roman Catholic tradition established in 2005 to assist parents in the intellectual, moral and spiritual formation of their children in grades Pre-K through 12th grade. Each year, seniors have the opportunity to do a senior project. This year, two of our seniors took on the challenge and they certainly exceeded expectations!
One student presented a beautiful ballet recital, showcasing years of dedication to refining her technique and artistry. Another student displayed an impressive collection of artwork, including acrylic paintings, watercolors, graphic design pieces, and sculptures, demonstrating both his talent and commitment.
It is amazing to witness the growth and achievement students can reach when they dedicate themselves to an art form. Well done!

Congratulations, class of 2026! You are on to the next chapter of your lives and we could not be more excited for you!

On Saturday we had our annual Cotillion, honoring our junior class! The cotillion traces its roots to 18th-century France — a structured group dance that was, at its heart, about teaching young people how to move gracefully through society. Not just on a dance floor, but in a dining room, or a conversation with someone they’d just met. There is something that happens when a young person learns to stand tall, offer a firm handshake, hold a door, and ask another person a genuine question about their life. They start becoming the person they were meant to be.

On April 10th we held our annual Classics Fest where we celebrated the beauty of our classical curriculum and the various unique ways in which our students learn! Highlights this year were the 7th grade's recitation of the periodic table of elements through song, the high school Dracula rendition, and the dramatization of "I Bought Me A Cat" by the 5th and 6th grade.

This week we had a visit from Mr. Dave Daniels with Forest Whales! The students got to step inside a 56 foot inflatable whale, see many different replica whale bones, and learn about various fossils with lots of humor! This was an unforgettable experience for Pre-Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. Thank you Forest Whales!
