👟It is 10:00 AM, and our 2026 Walk to Defeat ALS is officially underway at Riverside Park! Look at this incredible crowd hitting the route with so much passion, love, and energy. Every step taken today honors our beloved local ALS heroes, uplifts our brave families and caregivers, and pushes us closer to a cure.

A couple of quick reminders for those at the park:

🎉 REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🎉

The moment we’ve been working toward is here—registration and check-in are officially open at Riverside Park!The sun is shining, the park looks amazing, and our community is showing up big for our ALS heroes. If you're on your way down, here is what is waiting for you:

☕ Fuel Up: Grab a fresh coffee from Tilly’s Coffee Shop and delicious donuts provided by Bruce and Rotary!

🎟️ Silent Auction: The auction tent is fully open—head over to bid on the Packer/Vikings tickets, signed memorabilia, getaways, and more before bidding closes at 10:45 AM!

🎈 Kid Zone & Fun: Face painting, the Lego derby, archery range, and Minute to Win It games are ready to go.

🐕 Special Guests: The La Crosse Police Department K9 Unit was unable to come this morning, but we have the Humane Society here with some pups!

🎶 Live Tunes: Live music with Mike to get everyone moving.

Our opening program starts at 9:45 AM with emcee Dustin Luecke, and we walk together at 10:00 AM sharp!

It is 8:00 AM, which means registration for the Walk to Defeat ALS opens at Riverside Park in exactly 30 MINUTES! ⏰

The silent auction tables will officially open tomorrow morning at the Walk to Defeat ALS. Whether you have your eye on Packers rivalry tickets, rare bourbon bottles, private dinners, or handcrafted home goods, 100% of the proceeds directly power ALS care services, advocacy, and research.

Tip: Arrive early to browse the tables, check out the baskets in person, and place your opening bids before the walk kicks off!

🚨 REGISTRATION OPENS AT 8:30 AM TOMORROW! 🚨

Friday night check-in: We are just 12 hours away from Walk Day, and the energy is building!

Tomorrow morning, registration officially opens at 8:30 AM at Riverside Park. We want you there early because we have an incredible morning packed with activities for everyone before we hit the route at 10:00 AM!

Here is what you need to check out when you arrive:

The Kid Zone: Let the little ones loose at the Lego Derby Track, Foam Axe Throwing, an Inflatable Archery Range, and the Rain Gutter Regatta!

The Silent Auction Tent: Browse and bid on amazing items, including Packer/Viking tickets, a signed Packer football, a Super Bowl 1 coin, an Italian feast, a rare bourbon package, an Airbnb stay and so much more. (Bidding closes at 10:45 AM!)

Live Entertainment: Enjoy live music from our musician, Mike, to get you moving.

Community Partners: Visit with the La Crosse Police Department K9 Unit, Gundersen Health System, and Mayo Health Systems, and Opals4ALS.

Fuel Up: Grab some donuts (generously provided by Bruce Nuttal from Valley View Rotary!), grab a coffee from Tilly's Coffee Shop, and jump into some fun Minute to Win It games.
