We were proud to stand with so many Northside neighbors who believe this building still has a future.

The Northside Neighborhood Center proposal is about keeping a community space alive for kids, families, and seniors — without creating ongoing costs for taxpayers.

This isn’t about looking backward.

It’s about investing in the future of the North Side.

From the Mayor of City of La Crosse, Wisconsin: We have made the decision to open City Hall for customers on Friday mornings!

The lobby will now be open from 8 a.m. to 12 noon beginning January 9, 2026. City Hall Lobby (Clerk, Treasurer, Permits, Parks & Rec Customer Service) Hours: M-Th, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Please remember that staff is working 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and beyond depending on the department, Monday through Friday every week. If you need to make an appointment to meet with a staff person who is not based in the lobby, please call 608-789-2489.
