North La Crosse Business Association-NLBA

10/13/2026

A great group of Northside businesses meet monthly to stay connected to what impacts them and to help the community. We welcome more business owners to join us -- the first Wednesday of every month at 8 at the Black River Beach Community Center. This month the group met candidates for a northside Assembly Seat - Steve Doyle and Keith Purnell. In the works by the NLBA: new wayfinding signs, street banners, monitoring the flood mitigation plans, and celebrating a successful pancake breakfast with the Oktoberfest Parade Marshalls.

Many thanks to owners and workers of Stacks Family Farms, Borton Construction, Inc., Harter's Quick Clean Up, Three Sixty Real Estate Solutions, Jay Patel (Quality Inn of La Crosse and Candlewood Suites La Crosse) and his Sons, Co-op Credit Union, and LaHair Designers LaCrosse.

The first sign is up!

The first of nine new wayfinding signs was just installed on La Crosse’s Northside.

These signs point the way to historic Caledonia Street and other great place to eat and shop along George Street and Clinton Street. Whether you’re after a delicious meal, local shopping, or strolling our city’s most historic corridors, the Northside just got easier to explore.

Eight more to go. Keep an eye out!!

Happy 40th Years to giving the gift of food to NLBA member …. WAFER!

Help WAFER celebrate 40 years with a $40 gift! We’re celebrating 40 years of serving our community through our “Providing Food, Fueling Hope” campaign. Over the next 40 days, we’re asking our community to help us reach 400 donations of $40 and our $16,000 fundraising goal. Every $40 donation helps WAFER continue providing food and support to our neighbors when they need it most. Throughout the campaign, we’ll also be sharing 40 stories highlighting people who have been impacted by WAFER or helped make our work possible. Follow along each day at 6 PM to hear their stories. To donate, please use one of the links below. Thank you for helping us continue serving our community for years to come.
