It's been a great week for La Crosse Firefighters Local 127!

This week, we made stops at local elementary schools for Fire Prevention Week, teaching the importance of fire safety, prevention, and preparedness. Taking simple precautions and knowing what to do in an emergency can help save lives. We encourage everyone to review their fire safety plans and ensure their homes are protected.

Earlier in the week, our charity group, Firefighters Local 127 Charities, put on the Firefighters Charity Ball, bringing together members of the fire service and community in support of charitable causes. We're grateful for the continued support and the opportunity to give back to the community we proudly serve.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Local 127 and our mission, both on and off duty.

It’s been a busy and rewarding few weeks for L127!

We’re proud to share that our annual Fill the Boot campaign raised an incredible $7,368.63 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). We want to thank everyone who stopped by, donated, and helped us support this important cause. The generosity of our community continues to make a meaningful impact.

We were also proud to have a great showing at the La Crosse Labor Day Parade. It was another great opportunity to get out in the community, represent L127, and connect with the people we’re proud to serve.

To round out a busy few weeks, earlier this week we had the honor of hosting the PFFW State Golf Outing at Forest Hills Golf Course. This year’s event benefited the family of ECFD's Bryce Jungbluth, who tragically passed away this past July. We’re grateful to everyone who participated and helped make the outing a success while showing their support for Bryce’s family.

From raising funds for MDA, to celebrating with our community, to supporting a firefighter family in need, we’re proud of the many ways our members continue to give back.

Thank you to our members, our community, and everyone who continues to support L127. We’re proud to serve you.
