Contrary to the common belief strength training, if done correctly and under supervision, does not stunt growth. This long held belief had been proven to be a misconception in multiple studies. A number of scholarly articles have found positive correlation between physical and mental health outcomes in children and youth participating in strength training.

K'hai Bar was born of a passion for serving our community, especially those who serve or have served in the armed forces, along their family members. We currently offer strength training, individualized programing for barbell sports, combat sports instruction for youth athletes, and competition preparation. Working up to a missed lift is common practice in weightlifting training during max-out week as part of the overarching program leading up to a competition. The purpose is to test the athlete's limits and determine the repetition maximum, and ultimately guide the attempt selection.
On the left the elbows are bent while the bar is overhead, resulting in a press out, resulting in a no lift despite reaching the lockout position.

The objective of the sn**ch is to lift the barbell from the ground to overhead in one continuous motion.
