I've seen a few people "liking" the page so thought I should do an update. This is really, really far on the back burner. I'm pretty positive at this point that it will be a photoblog of the area and not a community site as I simply don't have time to deal with the trolls. But I don't have any idea, yet, when that's going to happen. At the moment, I have my hands full starting a portrait photography business and so am not out doing area photos very much. Next summer is likely the soonest.

Quick update on this... I still hope to resurrect the site some day but it's likely not going to be until next year except maybe as a photo blog. I'm trying to start a photography business at the moment and that is taking a huge amount of time. I just have nothing to spare for a community site in the foreseeable future.

One last thing and then I'll stop flooding peoples' streams with this. :) I currently have posts by others disabled on here because I don't want it covered with ads and announcements while I'm still working on things. But I will be opening it up at some point. Ok, that's it for now. :) Thanks for your patience while the new site is in the works. I hope it will be worth the wait!

To clear up some potential confusion... Coulee Region Online was the page for the website but Facebook won't let me change the name so I had to make a new page to match the new website name. That one will be going away once the new site is ready. Coulee Region is also my page but I intended that to be a more generic page about the area, not connected to the website.

The new website is still a long way off but I'm going to start using this page a bit more for Coulee Region related things and also am transitioning people here from my "Coulee Region Michelle" account.

The existing Coulee Region Online isn't doing well. My project for this winter is a major redesign that will focus it more on articles and photos and things that make the Coulee Region unique. This page won't have much action for a while but I wanted to get it set up so it's in place when I'm ready for it.
