WAREHOUSE ALLIANCE INC
Warehouse Alliance Inc is a La Crosse Wisconsin-based 501(c)(3) that promotes safe, alcohol & drug-free music events for young adults. The Alliance’s main program is the Warehouse, an all ages alcohol & drug-free music venue that has operated for 28 years in La Crosse WI. Warehouse hosts regional, national, and international bands performing in a unique classic building on Historic Pearl Street in the National Register of Historic Places downtown historic district of La Crosse. Warehouse staff adds young local bands to these concerts, helping them learn about the music industry through their own performance and through the interactions with real touring bands. The friends of these young local bands gather to watch them play, and other kids join in. The venue does not have an “alcohol area’, or “alcohol wristbands”, or serve alcohol in any way. Warehouse is a permanent, alcohol & drug-free venue. Every night it is open is alcohol-free. It is not a “teen night” like some local bars do, which is always just a trick to get teenagers in and familiarize them with those bars, and make them comfortable there so that when they turn 21 they go back. It is not some other kind of facility that does live music events upon occasion and has neon beer and liquor signs, alcohol table tents, etc. The Warehouse is 100% about using music to help young adults grow into strong adults, by providing an environment where those young adults can create their own social community through a shared enjoyment of music, without the need for alcohol or drugs. www.WHrocks.com www.WarehouseAlliance.org
