Registration for UMISC 2026 is open!
Join us in La Crosse, Wisconsin or online.
October 6-8, 2026

Early registration runs through August 3rd.
We are using a new system this year, so be sure to check out the UMISC registration webpage for some helpful hints.

A session-level agenda, details on the three plenary presentations, and information on optional field trips and workshops can all be found on the UMISC website, as well as information on lodging options. https://www.umisc.net/

We are seeking contributions for our theme: Art as a Voice for Science. This invitation is open to all and is an opportunity to showcase creative works that bring attention to invasive species and environmental conservation. If you plan to participate, please complete an artist registration form by September 4th so we can coordinate sharing your art with everyone at the conference!

UMISC 2026 Call for Abstracts!
Share your work on invasive aquatic and terrestrial plants, animals, insects, and/or pathogens during the Upper Midwest Invasive Species Conference taking place October 6-8, 2026 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Prospective presenters are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations in one of four tracks: Aquatic Ecosystems, Forest Health, Terrestrial Ecosystems, and​ Interdisciplinary.
