Graduation is always bittersweet, but also one of the best nights of the year! 🎓. My face hurt after smiling so much during both ceremonies! 🙂

Sad to realize that they won't be roaming the halls next year. But happy to see them excited for whatever the future may bring! .

Congratulations Central and Logan Class of 2026! Go do good things! 🥳

Longfellow Middle School 8th graders are getting ready for their transition to the next level!

8th Grade Recognition Ceremony is tonight at 6pm. 🎓

A tradition since 1923, Central High School has had the longest running high school Memorial Day observance in the nation.

The program not only honors those who gave their lives serving the country, but is a great lesson for students about patriotism and civic responsibility. 🪖 🎖

The school’s color guard, robed choir, band and chamber orchestra all performed. A Central alum who served for more than 20 years in the United States Army Nurse Corps was the featured speaker.

The WWI flag contains 199 blue stars and 11 gold stars in a white field with a red border.

The WWII flag contains two large stars. One representing 1,653 blue stars and the other representing 60 gold stars.

Blue stars symbolize Centralites who served in the World Wars. Gold stars represent Centralites who sacrificed their lives in service of their country.

We remember and thank all who helped protect others. 🇺🇸

⏰ Central High School starts at 7:30pm

Winona State here she comes!

Sophie Sila is the recipient of the Promise Scholarship at Logan High School. 💲💲

Sophie is planning to major in Elementary Education and looks forward to becoming a teacher! 🍎📚

"Thanks La Crosse Promise for the scholarship. I can't wait to get to Winona State and start college life," said Sophie. 🎓

Promise provides a scholarship to a graduating senior at both Central and Logan High Schools. The recipient must be going to either a two or four year institution with plans to work with children either as an educator, counselor, social worker, therapist, etc.
