2nd Chance to Shine 2nd Chance to Shine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps rescue dogs across the Midwest build the skills they need to find their forever homes. How can you help?

These dogs often arrive with challenging pasts and need social rehabilitation and basic manners training. Dogs come to us with various training needs, and some need a place to decompress and learn how to be a dog and trust people. Common rehab/training needs are socialization with other dogs, positive experiences with human and/or dogs, trust issues with humans/stranger danger, and basic obedience

like jumping, leash walking, and household manners. These dogs live at Fun Fur Pets Dog Daycare and we act as a foster for the dog. Our staff work with each dog daily to improve their adoptability, build confidence and help them learn how to have fun. We provide all of their food, training treats, bedding, enrichment toys, love and entertainment. Today we received the kindest donation from a loyal customer. Milly recently had a birthday, and instead of presents she asked for money to go towards our second chance to shine program! Milly raised just over $100! We are so grateful for Milly's generosity and so are the pups🐶 Here is Bo, Sammy, and Frankie giving a special thanks to you Milly❤️

Frankie is loving the sun and would love it even more in a home of her own. She is about 7 years old of snorts and endless amounts of love. She is great with ALL people-children included. We would prefer her to be the only pet-small dogs might be okay, but a meet and greet is required!
