We got the chance to jump, balance, and bounce while we learned about the life of a female athlete!

Today we learned about fueling our bodies for the race, and everyday!
Marisa Pruitt, a registered dietician, joined us and explained how foods that we eat are comparable to materials that burn in a campfire.
Ask your REAL GIRL to explain it to you.
She ended with a healthy snack demo where she made her own peanut butter and gave us the recipe and all the ingredients for apple nachos!
