Twenty-five years later, we remember by giving.

We invited blood donors across Wisconsin to share why they chose to give on September 11, 2001. Their words remind us that every donor comes through our doors with a story, a connection, or a reason that makes giving personal.

Some give to honor those who served. Some remember those we lost. Others simply want to be there for a stranger who may need them.

Whatever the reason, every donation is an act of service.

Versiti President and CEO Chris Miskel took the mound at American Family Field as Versiti joined the Milwaukee Brewers in recognizing Sickle Cell Awareness Day.

Together, we’re raising awareness of sickle cell disease and recognizing the patients and families who live with it, along with the blood donors whose generosity helps make lifesaving care possible.

We’re grateful to the Brewers for helping shine a light on a cause that means so much to our community. ❤️

Hey Milwaukee, it’s time to show up. 🩸🏀

On Sept. 27, Versiti and the Milwaukee Bucks are bringing the Back the Bucks Blood Drive to Fiserv Forum.

Step inside the arena and give blood for patients across our community who depend on it for cancer treatment, surgeries, trauma care and more.

And there’s plenty happening at the Forum. Donors will receive an exclusive Bucks + Versiti T-shirt, while supplies last, plus enjoy a photo booth and appearances from Bango and 414 Crew.

Every student deserves to begin the school year feeling prepared, confident and supported. 🎒📚

Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin was proud to support our community partner, Gee’s Clippers, during its back-to-school drive. By providing backpacks and school supplies, we helped approximately 25 local students start the new school year ready to learn.

Thank you to Gee’s Clippers for bringing our community together and continuing to show up for Milwaukee’s students. ❤️

The Girl Scouts community showed up in a big way! 💚🩸

Across our Girl Scouts Give Blood Challenges, 83 people attempted to donate, resulting in 77 successful donations. Those donations could impact up to 231 lives and helped Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast earn $1,660!

Thank you to every donor, board member, volunteer, troop leader and supporter who helped spread the word and make this possible. Your generosity is helping local patients and creating a lasting impact in our community. ❤️
