La Crescent Lions Club - MN Since 1965, the La Crescent Lions Club has helped make La Crescent a great place to live. Our motto is "We Serve".

Local projects include tree planting, park improvements, scholarships, as well as the Global Causes of Lions Clubs International.

Lions Ron Wilke & Teresa O'Donnell continued our Club's long-standing tradition of helping the City of La Crescent staff plant trees every year. This year, trees were added to a section of Pine Creek as part of a habitat restoration area on the edge of Pine Creek Golf Course. Betsy Knowles and Jim Nissen also volunteered.

Update 2/11/26: We are sad to say we are canceling the Lions Candlelight Hike for this Saturday, 2/14.
The trail is a mix of soggy ground and icy patches - not a great (or safe) combination for a hike in the dark. If we get snow in March, we may try to reschedule.
THANK YOU to all our volunteers and all our hikers who make this such a fun event. Happy Valentines Day. Thanks for your understanding.
