Mission trips are no joke! They help teach kids how to put others before self and how to find joy in serving. Every summer, we take a group of middle school students on a three day "test taster" mission trip to see what it's all about. Tonight we have an info meeting about this summer's trip. We polled the kids last week about what new activities or elements they would like to see at the Bridge to give it a little refresh, and they came up with a great list of ideas. I thought I would post it here first to see if anyone had some of these things that they weren't using any longer before I went and bought anything new. Or if you feel inclined to purchase one of the items on the list for the Bridge, please let me know! I can connect you with the links for the things that we are looking for.

Yes, we are open today until 5pm!

After today, we will be closed through January 11th while our college staff head home for the holidays. We will reopen on January 12.

Our staff are amazing with the students and we wish them safe travels and lots of family time and rest over their Christmas break.

Calling all OG Bridge Youth! We will be open on Thursday night to celebrate MEA weekend with senior high youth from 7-10 pm. Join us for some old favorites like gaga ball and One Night Werewolf and make memories with new favorites as well. All senior high kids are invited to hang out. Pizza and drinks will be provided; items in the snack bar will be available for purchase.

The Bridge is hiring! Join our youth center staff and change the lives of middle schoolers! Youth mentors work to foster positive relationships with middle school and occasionally, high school youth. Responsibilities include providing a safe environment for students to play games, hang out and receive services such as tutoring, laundry facilities, and food services. Schedules of the youth center are based around schedules of the staff and typically occur between 2:30-5:00 pm during the week. These schedules are subject to change on a semester basis. Summer staffing also optional based on shedules. This is a perfect position for anyone looking to go into education, youth ministry, or social worker-type positions.
