Miss Teen La Center North County Scholarship Program

Miss Teen La Center North County Scholarship Program Non-profit community pageant Linda Tracy, the Executive Director, founded the pageant in 2003.

This pageant produces a "Court" to act as ambassadors for LaCenter and Ridgefield at parades and festivals around the Clark County/Portland Metro area. She was also elected to the LaCenter City Council in 2003 and re-elected in 2007 and is thrilled with the support she gets from the City and area businesses. In 2022 after requests from the community, the Ridgefield court was added.

Most of those days I need 7 people, with a couple of adults included each day. Anyone is welcome, moms, dads, brothers, sisters....remember that you get free parking, free admission and a free ice cream treat at the end of the shift. Help support our wonderful organization.

What a beautiful night on Saturday, at La Center Middle School, to celebrate 23 years and crown our new Miss Teen La Center 2026, Makayla, and her Princesses Emma, Bella, Annabelle and Anneliese. The air conditioning wasn't working very well so it was a little toasty, but the girls rose to the occasion in fine style. To say thank you to all my volunteers would take awhile but I sure couldn't do this without them. First of all, thank you to Taylar Turner, Miss Teen La Center 2014, who took over, at the last minute, to tabulate all the scores. Thank you to Raeanne Edwards, Miss Clark County's Outstanding Teen 2009, for filling in, with about 4 hours notice, when we lost a judge because of sickness. Thank you to my daughter, Brittney, who is my back up for pretty much everything, to Kelly and Anna, who do such a stellar job of handling the choreography and rehearsals, to Adrionna for the great Emcee job, to my backstage ladies, Debbie and Tayvn, to our last minute hair person Kristi, to Ashley, who handles the Silent Auction and People's Choice, to Teri Le and Danielle for more things than I can mention, to Candy for prepping the girls for interview, to Sheri for always making sure we have beautiful photos and to my brother Terry who comes up from Wilsonville every year to make sure our sound is perfect. To our beautiful Jr. Princesses, Janny, Makayla and Story. And of course, our judging panel. Elizabeth, Shelby, Mike, Raeanne and Nelda. "It takes a village" and I am blessed to have a wonderful one!

It was a beautiful day for the Ridgefield 4th of July parade, once we got to about 11 o'clock, ha,ha. Before that, it was pretty chilly. We had Queen Ava and her Princesses Emma, Audrey and Annabelle, plus walkers, this year's contestants, Anneliese, Paityn and Keagan. We also had Jr Princess Janny. Thank you to our trusty driver, Royal Dad Jeff and Royal Mom walkers Missy, Melissa and Brittney. Thomas passed out candy and beads and Michael tossed a few items from the stroller, everyone had a good time. AND, we won an "honorable mention" trophy which was pretty special!

It was a pretty nice day for the Woodland Planter's Day Parade, not too cold and not too hot. Lots of happy people along the parade route. On the float was Queen Ava and her Princesses Bella, Emma and Annabelle.....we missed you Audrey. Our faithful driver was Royal Dad Jeff and walkers Royal moms Brittney, Missy and Janelle. Jr Princess Makayla was on hand to give extra smiles and we even had two Royal little brothers, Thomas and Michael, helping with the candy and beads. It was so nice to have Paityn with us, walking, she has entered this year's pageant and we're so glad to have her back with us. Bella stayed a little after the parade to watch the frog jumping contest, she couldn't resist holding a frog! ha ha
