I brought yucky inside to see how the girls might get along. Yuckys siblings died, so shes been alone. Things got off to a rocky start, but I think theyll both end up enjoying each other's company. Were giving them some time to get used to one another.

Ginger still hasn't been able to p**p on her own. Ive gotten some small amounts out under dr direction. If she cant p**p on her own, tomorrow shell go back to the vet for an e***a. And we will try again. If she still cant p**p on her own after that - then the maggots inside of her may have caused some internal damage & she may not be able to p**p on her own ever. If thats the case, im guessing we would have to put her down. im not sure, its just my guess at this point.

But we are not there yet, were still at step 1 - hopefully she can p**p on her own today. 1 thing at a time.

Miss Ginger was ready to come out and play this morning! She ate her rx can food for dinner last night & it gave her back some kitten energy!

Miss Ginger is home from the vet. Unfortunately we had nowhere to put her, so shes here with me, as things usually go - im the ultimate fallback option when there are no options 😅

She has some pretty gnarly & serious injuries. The worst part - she had live maggots in her butt. They gave her some meds to kill them all, and shell pass them on her own, in time. Shes extremely swollen & 💩 hurts. Maggots can hatch within 8-24hrs. But with the dried 💩 on her butt, they had nowhere to go so they started eating away at her - doing what maggots do. Its a time will tell situation. Once she passes them, the Dr can get a better idea of whats going on, if there is internal damage.

The external damage, the maggots started eroding the section between the a**s & her girly parts. Its very raw & exposed. She will need to be monitored extremely close, kept extremely clean, and she will probably need some help 💩 weve got meds, rx food, nutrical, etc and will be watching her like a hawk. If anything takes a turn for the worse, to the Dr we will run. The meds should hopefully help her heal from the inside out. And the hope is for the outside skin to regrow while healing.

She is such a sweet girl, only 7 weeks old, as you can see she is happily playing with her toys! Shes got a nice big kennel to hang out in while shes in kitten icu & will be heavily monitored.

These 2 brothers are the SWEETEST!! And they would absolutely love an indoor home! They've both been neutered, eartipped, and vaccinated. Theyre around 5mths old. In their awkward lanky teenage stage where their legs are fully grown & their bodies are trying to catch up 😹

It would be amazing to find them a home together, they are never far apart from one another. They are good with both kids & dogs & other cats!! Perfect little black Panthers searching for a forever home!! ❤️

⚠️ KITTEN EMERGENCY ⚠️

We had to run a kitten to Coffee Memorial Animal Clinic this morning. She is a beautiful 7 week old female longhair. The girls at the vet have named her Ginger.

She was found with 💩 stuck on her butt, and when she was getting rinsed off it was full of maggots underneath. She was brought inside & placed in a kennel. Shes straining to 💩 and potty, there may be a blockage? At the very minimum we have a serious infection going on, ive never seen private parts on a kitten look like this, so im at a loss of what could be going on.

She is at the dr & will get the best care possible. Whether that be an xray, fluids, etc. I highly doubt shell be healthy enough to recieve a distemper vaccine, but I asked if she is to please vaccinate her & deworm her.

If you would be able to donate towards her vet bill, it can be called in directly to the vets office at 270-665-9146 or i have listed our donation options below. Please we are going to need your help. I will update as i know anything. We brought her in immediately so the Dr will be able to get to her as soon as she has a free minute. Ginger is in good spirits, alert, clear eyes, not in a medical emergency status. But whatever is going on with her definitely could not wait.

Beautiful Miss Yucky is FINALLY starting to grow! She is 6 weeks old now & does everything at FULL SPEED 😆 she is a very busy little munchkin ❤️ Her momma Raven is also starting to put on some weight & isnt just a scrawny sack of skin & bones anymore. Raven will be getting TNR on october 14th & then she will be released back to her colony.

Yucky will be heading off to Amber's house probably this week sometime so she will have other kittens to play with & learn how to play well with others before she goes to tortitude cat cafe near the end of october, after her spay appt october 26th. She will then be available for adoption.

We went on a little trip out to Brooke's place in Princeton today! Jamie Whalen had gotten new incubators for her neonates, and wanted her former incubators to be put to good use! She gave us 2 of her former incubators that are still in great condition! She also loaded us up with a bunch of canned food for all of the colonies we help feed, and foster homes! Lauren took a bunch in her vehicle to disperse, and Ange took some to disperse as well. The can food will be delivered to our fosters & colonies ASAP!

We cannot thank Brookes Place enough!! Food and litter are desperately needed right now!! Thank you so much for thinking of us Jamie ❤️ We love our relationships with other area rescues, no one can do this alone - we all must work together if we are going to make a difference 💙

We came home to a delivery from Teresa Salonimer as well! 2 cases of the BIG CANS of friskies wet food! Ill be sending 1 over to Lauren right away to feed her crew, and the other will be going over to Kali's kittens who are just weaned from their momma and eating A LOT!! 😆 the big cans will make it much easier for their foster mom to feed the 7 of them who are almost 6 weeks old now! Thank you Teresa!!
