Tori Rodgers owner of Tortitude Cat Cafe and Tracy Larrison have both sent monetary donations towards our kitten crisis

Emily Griffith owner of All Paws Inn Boarding in Paducah felt our frustration at not being able to have our regular litter boxes shipped from dollar tree & ordered us 2 cases shipped to her kennel!

Some kitten food & a case of can food was dropped off at Coffee Memorial Animal Clinic for us as well!

I heard a rumor today that Rural King on Cairo Rd had fleece throw blankets for only $1.99 each and sprinted to the store! Our momma cat with 4 kittens likes to drag her blankets & beds into her litterbox while the babies are still on them, and it makes for quite the messy kennel on a daily basis. These blankets were so very needed!

This is one proud momma cat right here ❤️ Florence is absolutely in love with her kittens. She snuggles them so tight, it is simply adorable. She hasnt stopped making biscuits since we trapped her sunday!

Florence & her 5 new babies spent the day at the vet while momma recieved her rabies, distemper & FeLV vaccinations. She also had her FeLV/FIV testing done. And she got a dose of revolution for fleas, ticks, earmites & tummy worms. Big day for momma!

She is settled in my spare bedroom with her babies & is the happiest girl you will ever meet. Sleep well sweet girl ❤️

FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Their vet is Coffee Memorial Animal Clinic in La Center. They will need to be seen there if anything occurs - getting sick, needing meds, spay/neuter when 8-9wks old, etc. We can provide everything you need to get set up for fostering! You provide the space in your home & love! Florence was supposed to be a TNR cat - we were not expecting her to give birth to these adorable little munchkins! We have no room! And we are in need of everything KITTEN! food, beds, toys, blankets you name it!

FOSTER HOME NEEDED!!

It happened again. A cat trapped for TNR gave birth the night prior to her appt. HELP!! We have a mom & 5 babies with nowhere to go!

Mom is the absolute sweetest cat in the world. Her owners moved & left her behind. She is so in love with her babies already. All she does is snuggle and love on them. She is nursing just fine, the babies are healthy. Mom is healthy.

But we need your help! Please consider fostering this sweet family? Do you have a spare bedroom they could occupy for a few months? Do you have space in your house for a large dog kennel? We can get you everything you need to get setup!

Please help!! 🙏

Not what we were hoping for, but tnr rarely goes as we hope 😢 weve got 4 at the dr today for spay/neuter. Sometimes as hard as we try we just cannot convince the kitties to go in the trap.

The 2 kittens are friendly & needing a home! Theyre around 5mths old, just babies! 1 tuxedo & 1 torti!! We hate to release kittens to live outdoors, but the harsh reality is there aren't enough homes for them all. Shelters are full. Rescues are full. Foster homes are overwhelmed. Adoptions are slow, donations are slow. This is the worst time of year for animal rescuers.

Spay & Neuter is so important! It is the only way to stop the suffering outdoor cats have to go through

Another donation from our friend Kathy Black Holt is a HUGE HIT! playtime is so important with young kittens, it helps with socialization & is great for their development! We always welcome donations of new or used toys, cat towers, etc. Everything finds a good home!

These 3 (and the other 2 in the litter) will be going in on august 31st for their 2nd distemper vaccine, FeLV/FIV test, flea prevention, deworming, spays & neuters and theyll be off to Tortitude Cat Cafe to find their forever homes!

Trying to use her momma as bait to get her in the trap just as we do with newborn kittens 😸 it couldve worked, but momma cat became overheated & we had to move her into the AC of the car. She started panting & that was a big no no
