LCBSA is looking forward to another great Opening Night event tomorrow night!

Join us starting at 5:30 at the LCHS Softball Fields for a fun-filled evening.

Be sure to pre-order your meal from the Snack Shack using the form sent in an email!

In addition to the pre-order meals available, we will have Pizza courtesy of Flintridge Italian Deli, snacks, and be sure to swing by the Cozy Cookie Company booth for a sweet dessert!

Our Cooperstown baseball team will be running a fun throwing challenge & serving Hot Cocoa to help raise funds for their trip to Cooperstown later this year.

The main event of the night will be a softball game featuring players from the Bronco Baseball & Super Senior Softball divisions. It is sure to be a game to watch!

The event is open to all in the community, so be sure to bring your friends and family!

We are excited to host our annual Opening Night Event on February 27th! Join us at the La Cañada High School Softball Fields from 5:30-8:00 PM for a fun filled evening!

The event is open to everyone in the La Cañada Flintridge community. All LCBSA players are encouraged to attend and our youngest players in the Foal, Shetland, Fillie, and Pixie divisions will have a chance to run the bases during the event!

We will be hosting our annual friendly Softball game with representatives from the Bronco Baseball & Super Senior Softball divisions. LCUSD’s own Wendy Sinnette will throw out the season’s first pitch!

Along with the game, there will be other fun activities to enjoy, including a radar gun competition to see who can throw the fastest from each age division, a fun bubble dome, opportunity drawings, and more! If you are looking to have your player’s gear customized, Airworkz Airbrush will also be at the event and can customize helmets, hats, and banners.

Don’t forget to bring your appetite! There will be food for purchase from the Snack Shack, pizza from Flintridge Italian Deli & Pizza Co., and cookies from The Cozy Cookie Co.! If you would like to Pre-Order meals from the Snack Shack, please use this form. All meals are $10 and include chips and a drink.

We are excited to kick off the 2026 season and to see all of our players out on the field in the coming weeks.

The first event of the season will be player evaluations, which are scheduled for January 24th at the LCHS Varsity Softball Field for Softball. For baseball, evaluations will be held on January 31st at the LCHS JV Baseball Field.

Another great event is our Field Cleanup and Gear Swap Day. This event will be held on Sunday, January 25th starting at 9:30am.

Tomorrow is the LCBSA pre-season clinic to dust off the rust before evaluations!

Come out to the LCHS Varsity Softball field on 1/18 for a hitting and fielding tune-up before the season starts. The clinic is open to all softball players in the 8U through 14U divisions.

8U & 10U - 10:00AM - 12:00 Noon
12U & 14U - 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM
The cost for the clinic is $40 per player, which can be paid via Venmo to . Light refreshments will be provided to the participants at the conclusion of thier time slot.
