Small Town Community Cats INC We are non profit 501(c) (3) all volunteer run small organization in rural SW Wyoming. We rely solely on donations, we don’t receive any federal funding .

Our organization was founded in 2014 to reduce cat overpopulation by spaying/neutering ( TNR). Small Town Community Cats INC was founded in 2013 and registered in 2014. Our mission is to reduce overpopulation of stray and feral cats by spaying/neutering and help cats in need of rescue or unwanted cats and dogs.
- We all volunteers , we don't have paid employees
- We foster home based rescue,

we don't have facility
- We solely rely on donations, we don't receive any federal or state
funding. We are trying to help as many kitties we can and keep them healthy and fed. With YOUR help we can do more !

Dental was done on Wednesday. He is doing great and is ready for new furrever home.

We need traps 🙏. Good quality traps … This baby ( pictured ) and two other babies are rescued this week because volunteer was able to trap them . Their mommas also were trapped and went directly to the vet to get spayed ( we had appointment for them) . Sadly volunteer couldn’t trap two more kittens because two cheap traps quit working right when she was preparing for trapping 😿.
Now when Mommas are returned and are taking care of two babies . We are working on trapping two remaining babies.

We need at least two more Tru Catch traps ( link to our Amazon wish list below) . They are a bit pricey but those True Catch traps we have are about 10 years old and still working perfectly compared to cheaper versions that don’t last long.

🐾🐈‍⬛🐾🐈‍⬛ We took in five more kittens into foster care … we are going through canned food and cat litter faster than expected . Sorry I have to beg for help often than I would like to …

Thank you everyone who donated 🐾❤️!
The vet thinks he is around 6 yo, he is declawed , his blood work results are looking great , his teeth are not so we have dental appointment on Tuesday to get his teeth done .
Some awesome lady put $160 toward his dental surgery already . So we still need about $80 to fully cover it. If you can add few dollars Romeow will appreciate it so much 🙏.

🐈🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛ The “kitten season” is in full swing! We are getting more kittens into foster care and trapping mommas with kittens next week. We are almost out of kitten food !

Hi ! My name is Romeow . I’ve lost my home when my owner was taken into hospice care. I had no place to go 😿. I’m hoping to find new loving home 🙏. To make it happen I have to go to the vet to get my vaccine updated, to run some tests and estimate my age because I can’t tell how old I am . Can you help me with it?
People here at the rescue say they have some money for me, just not enough to cover my vet bill. So I still need to raise about $125.

Do you know the number one reason for failure in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts? ➡️ When caregivers don’t achieve 100% sterilization.

That’s because just one unspayed female cat can produce up to seven kittens in the next litter cycle, potentially undoing months of progress.

We encourage anyone using TNR methods to aim for very high sterilization rates. So book your spay/neuter appointments, gather your traps and equipment, and make a plan to get every last cat in your colony spayed or neutered!
