Our mission is simple: to improve the world one child and one community at a time. We believe that when caring people come together, amazing things happen—and we want YOU to be part of it!

Woohoo! We are officially at charter strength! Welcome to new members KME Risk Advisors (Laura) and The Walizer Agency, State Farm Insurance (Seth). Excited for all the great things this new Kiwanis Club will do for the KBH communities!

Governor Harp and Division 16 Lt. Governor Kyle Butcavage spent most of the day staffing a Kiwanis table at the annual Fall Fest in downtown Kutztown. Over 5,000 people attended the event. Three blocks were closed off for the festival. There were live bands, food trucks, and dozens of other vendors. We distributed over a hundred Early Learning Guides to parents of young children. The presidents of the local Rotary and Lions clubs stopped by out booth and were very welcoming. We were able to promote the new Kiwanis Club of Kutztown-Brandywine Heights, and met at least one good prospect for membership.

The Kiwanis Club of Emmaus set up a table at the Lutheran Home at Topton's annual Grandparents Day this Sunday, September 7. The weather was perfect and there were non-stop activities for residents of the nursing home and independent living community. The main feature was a vintage car show. But there were tasty refreshments, including root beer floats and funnel cakes, a bake sale, entertainment, and games for the children. Our Kiwanis display feature photos of the many service projects the Emmaus Club is involved in. This demonstrated the impact of a Kiwanis Club in the community. At the event, we promoted membership in the new Kiwanis Club of Kutztown-Brandywine Heights. If nothing else, this was free publicity for our efforts to build a new Kiwanis club in that community. Thank you Emmaus Kiwanis!
