Friendly Reminder:There will be a screening of "Philadelpha" today at 6pm in the Center along with a display in Old Main for World AIDS day which is today.Fun Fact: An estimated 34 million people have HIV/AIDS worldwide. In the USA, an estimated 1.2 million people live with HIV and one out of every seven are not aware they have the virus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Congrats to Allies of Kutztown University with the help of Allies Equality Network, Student Government Board with the help of Acadmic Affairs, and of course the University. This is a huge victory and advance in the right direction. I am very proud to be serving as President of Allies and a Representative of SGB and involved with this amazing process, a process that was years in the works. Congrats!

Don't forget that next Sunday is the Allies Experience 20 Years of Solidarity and Struggle. This is going to be a very important day as it wil recognize the hardwork that Allies of Kutztown University has done for the past 20 years as well as the amazing services that the GLBTQ Resource Center has provided for the past 10 years. And let's not forget the newest addition to Kutztown University's LGBTQ family, Lambda Delta Xi Diaternity, the first ever all inclusive greek organization that focuses primarily on LGBTQ and ally issues.
