KU Community Outreach Center The Community Outreach Center is the Kutztown University hub for community service and social advocacy work.

The center promotes mutually beneficial collaborations between the university and the Lehigh/Berks County communities and beyond. The Community Outreach Center is located in the McFarland Student Union, 281 and offers many volunteer opportunities for one-time volunteers and weekly/monthly volunteers. The center is always looking for students to join any one (or more!) of our various service opportunities. For current opportunities, please visit www.engage.kutztown.edu and click on the Service tab or www.givepulse.com and log in with your KutztownU credentials. You can also contact us and we can help you find an opportunity that best matches your field of study and/or general interest. Not only is volunteering a rewarding experience, but it is also a great way to discover and serve your community, make new friends, and build your resume! For specific questions related to our volunteer programs, please email [email protected]. For specific questions related to our American Reads & Counts programs, please email [email protected]. For questions on civic engagement and political advocacy, please contact the Assistant Director of Student Involvement & Community Outreach at [email protected].
