💙People of Action Supporting Maternal & Child Health

As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, Kutztown Rotary is rallying our community to support parents who need us most.

This August, we're launching a Baby Bundles Drive in support of Rotary's global focus on Maternal and Child Health. Every item donated goes directly to parents facing hardship in our region, distributed through Friend, Inc. Community Services.

Then, we're bringing the community together for a night of movies with a mission: the Double Feature Baby Movie Event, hosted at the Kutztown Strand Theatre on August 16.

Admission is free with a donation of new baby items.

Kutztown Rotary is launching a brand‑new fundraiser — and this one is BIG.

We’re raffling off a travel package so you and a guest can enjoy Dinner for Two anywhere around the globe. Paris, Tokyo, Cape Town, Sydney… if you can dream it, you can go.

All proceeds benefit the Kutztown Rotary Charitable Foundation and support the local and global service projects that make a real difference.

The winning ticket will be drawn on Wednesday, December 2, 2026 at the Kutztown Tavern.
You do not need to be present to win.

Travel arrangements will be made through Ellen Overcast Main Street Getaways Dream Vacations by November 30, 2027 (your trip can occur later).

🎉July Is New Leadership Month in Rotary! 🎉
Every July, Rotary clubs around the world welcome new leaders and begin a brand‑new Rotary year!

This year, we gathered at Camp Edmar to install our new club president Laura and our dedicated officers and board members. We celebrated everything we accomplished together and looked ahead with excitement to what’s next.

As People of Action, we create lasting change — in Kutztown, across the globe, and within ourselves.
The new Rotary year is here, and we’re ready for it.

Great communities grow because people show up.
Kutztown Rotary members partnered with Kutztown Thriving to prepare two local gardens for spring, the pollinator garden on Greenwich Street and the garden beds at St. Barnabas. These spaces support pollinators, brighten our town, and create small moments of connection for everyone who passes by.

Service, partnership, and a little dirt under our nails.
That’s Rotary. That’s Kutztown.

It’s World Immunization Week, and Rotary clubs around the world are shining a light on the creativity, courage, and community partnerships driving us closer to a polio‑free world.

This year, we’re celebrating three powerful stories:
💜 Purple Pinkie Beer: How a Local Brew Helps End Polio
A Rotary club in Evanston partnered with a local brewery to create Purple Pinkie — a craft beer inspired by the purple ink used to mark immunized children. It’s a reminder that community partnerships, big and small, fuel global change.

🎉 Kutztown Rotary Turns 100!

We kicked off our centennial with a Roaring 20’s celebration at the Astor Event Center — great food, great company, and a whole lot of sparkle.

Rotary District 7430 Governor Mary Cook and Rotary International Foundation Trustee Marty Helman shared powerful reflections on our history, global impact and the importance of membership and belonging. We were honored with a mayoral citation, a lively look back at our club’s story, and a night of dancing, costumes, and the Charleston.

Here’s to 100 years of service — and the next century ahead. 💙💛
