Blue skies, playful pets, and a community that continues to show up when it's needed most. 🐾

May was National Pet Month, and it was also one of our busiest months at the Friend, Inc. Pet Pantry.

Thanks to your support, we served 247 families, including 472 cats and 254 dogs - more than 700 animals in total.

While the blue skies in this photo remind us of hope, these numbers remind us that the need for our services remains strong. Every donation, volunteer hour, and shared post helps keep pets with the families who love them.

Thank you for continuing to support our mission. Let's keep showing up for our Friend, Inc. Community Services pets and their families.

Can you believe it's been over 2 weeks since our 2nd Annual Furever Friends Dog Walk? Time flies when you're having fun! 🐾

THANK YOU to everyone who donated food and treats at our 2nd Annual Dog Walk on Sunday. 🐾💚

This is exactly why Friend, Inc. Community Services is able to help feed over 700 animals each month through our pet pantry program… because of this incredible community.

Every donation - big or small - helps keep pets fed, families together, and reminds people they are not alone. Watching our community come together for such an important cause is truly something special.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing up, giving back, and helping us make a difference one paw at a time.

What a grrr-eat Sunday Funday for our 2nd Annual Furever Friends Dog Walk! 🐾☀️

Yesterday was filled with wagging tails, smiling faces, community spirit, and so much love for pets and the families we serve through Friend, Inc. Community Services ❤️

THANK YOU to everyone who walked, volunteered, sponsored, donated, grilled, photographed, sold raffle tickets, visited vendors, and supported this event in any way. It truly takes a community - and yesterday showed just how special ours is.

Grab your sneakers, your dog (if you have one!), and a leash - and join us for the 2nd Annual Furever Friends Dog Walk at Kutztown Park!

And just a reminder… you do NOT need a dog to attend. ❤️
This is a community event supporting an organization that helps local families and pets in need. Friends helping Friend, Inc. That’s what today is all about.

🐾🎉 TOMORROW’S THE DAY! 🎉🐾

The 2nd annual Furever Friends Dog Walk is happening tomorrow at Kutztown Park and we are SO excited to spend the day with our amazing community - both two-legged and four-legged! 💚

In addition to the walk, we’ll have:
🐶 Local vendors
🎶 Music
📸 A roaming photographer capturing the walk and wags
🎟️ An amazing raffle (a huge hit last year!)
☕ The Perk Up Truck serving coffee, smoothies, and pup cups!

🎟️🐾 Our AH-mazing raffle is BACK for the 2nd annual Furever Friends Dog Walk… and trust us, it’s going to be a BIG hit again this year! 💚

From dog goodies and gift baskets to local experiences, treats, and surprises for both pets and humans, there’s something for everyone! 🐶🎁

And the best part? You do NOT need to participate in the walk to join the raffle fun! The raffle is open to everyone, with proceeds benefiting the Friend, Inc. Pet Food Pantry and helping local families keep their beloved pets fed and cared for.

So whether you come for the walk, the vendors, the music, the raffle baskets or all of it… we’d love to see you there! Raffle opens at 10am. Drawing at 12:15pm. Winners do not need to be present to win.

The walker bags are packed and ready to go, this year’s dog bandana has been tested and approved (very important job, obviously 😄), and the doggie prizes are officially waiting for their new furever homes!
