The NHTS (The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) have some great tips as we hit hot temps.

As another dangerous heat dome with triple-digits temps threatens parts of the U.S., remember these prevention tips:
🧸 Keep a toy in the front seat as a visual cue.
📱 Leave an item you need in the back.
🔒 Lock empty cars so kids can't climb inside.

These tips apply to animals as well. Stay hydrated, use sunscreen, stay safe this summer.

This Friday, June 19, Kuna Fire will be hosting a free car seat safety check event at Kuna Fire Station 1 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Stop by if you need assistance installing a car seat, want to ensure your current car seat is installed correctly, or simply have questions about car seat safety. Our team will be available to help make sure your child is riding as safely as possible.
