Western Idaho Fair 2026

Congratulations Auggie, Rowan, Kort, and Ellie on a great fair! Here are a few ring shots from Jefferies Livestock Marketing.

These kids are always going above and beyond and deserve a shout out. Auggie and Kort volunteered to water down the showring for the ewe and dairy goat shows. It was so dry and dusty it took them a couple of hours to get it done. Ellie was awesome to let me borrow her clippers and stand to shear lambs for another club that needed help. She even jumped in and sheared when I was running late. Dear Rowan is always their to lend a hand and help wherever she can.

4H & FFA kids attending the Western Idaho Fair, please be reading your emails. Important information is being sent out by the WIF. I would hate to have this be an issue for you during check in.

Also if you are bring a generator you must have a fire extinguisher next to it at all times. The Boise City Fire Marshall will not be giving warnings this year nor will he be loaning out extinguishers. You will have to remove them from the grounds.

Check in with your 4H Leaders and FFA advisors if you have questions.

2026 CCF in the books

These kiddos are amazing! Yes, they walk away with several buckles and ribbons in hand but that isn't why they are amazing. They are amazing because they are kind, hard working, and always the first to jump up and ask how they can help anyone.

Thank you to my Western Idaho Fair families for volunteering at the CCF market sale to help it run smoothly.

Thank you to our sheep superintendents Devin Fisher and Morgyn Babcock for working day and night to make the 2026 CCF a great experience for all.

Teamwork makes the dream work!

Today we celebrate Katie Clouss! Happy Birthday to an amazing leader that donates her time and effort not only to our 4H Club but to numerous 4H committees and the beloved Clover Sparks. Thanks Katie for keeping us in line and doing so much good for all 4H kiddos.
