🎉 Meet Madison. 🎂 Her 6th birthday included a stop at the Kuna Food Bank. Madison's been learning about commitment to service at school, so she asked her friends to help her with food donations instead of gifts.

🥰 Madison delivered 88 pounds of food tonight with the help of her Grandpa Matt. Besides thanking Madison for her kindheartedness, the Monday night volunteers sang "Happy Birthday" to her. Madison, we're grateful you made the Kuna Food Bank a part of your birthday celebration. 💚🎈

⏰Time for a quick follow-up. A summer fundraiser is helping us sustain our inventory as we settle into fall. The Kuna Grocery Outlet collected $4000 from customers during the July Independence from Hunger Campaign. Wow! 🤩

Those donations are especially helpful. Our volunteer shoppers have been using the funds to replenish dwindling stock in the weeks leading up to next month's community food drive. One of our volunteers snapped a picture of her cart when she stopped by the store last Saturday. 🛒

Thank you to Grocery Outlet and the customers who donated. Your generosity has given us a boost just when we needed it. 💚

🥰A poet’s words inspire this group. These kindhearted young women and their mentors from Kuna’s 15th Ward spent an evening serving at the food bank, assembling snack bags. Group leader Sheryl says they’re guided by a simple quote: “The heart that gives, gathers.” Thank you for sharing your generous spirit with us.💚

😍Getting into the community! As part of First Interstate Bank’s 9th Annual Volunteer day on Wednesday, local staff donated time and funds for the Kuna Food Bank to build new shelving for more food storage.  Kuna branch manager, Kara Larson said, “To build a good community, it’s important to work in your community and see what changes we can make to help!” Thank you. 💚
