Krum & North Texas International Exchange Coordinator EF HSEY We have been bringing high school exchange students to the US for 40 years and we are growing in the Denton County area. Who are our host families?

We are looking for families who share our passion for youth and cultural exchange to become volunteer host families. There is no ‘typical’ host family. Our families represent the diversity of
American culture and we encourage families of all shapes and sizes to host. We welcome families with small children, grown children, single parents, grandparents, families without children, same sex couples a

nd more! All of our host families are volunteers. In addition to this being a J-1 visa requirement, we’ve found that volunteer families truly enjoy the experience of hosting and are caring, open-minded people who want to learn more about other cultures while sharing theirs with a student from across the globe. While we love working with all different kinds of families, we do have some basic eligibility requirements.

✔️ Fact: You get to choose your student! We work together to find the best fit for your lifestyle and family dynamic.

✔️ Fact: Hosting is flexible! Options include SEMESTER hosting, or FULL-YEAR hosting—either option makes a meaningful impact.

🚨 Host Families Needed for Exchange Students This Fall! 🚨

We know many people are interested in hosting but might feel nervous about taking the first step. 💭 I’m here to answer your questions and reassure you—there is NO perfect time to host! Life is what you make of it, and sometimes the best experiences happen when you take a leap of faith. Just like waiting for the "perfect time" to have kids or start a new adventure, most people realize that the right moment is now. 💕 Don’t let fear hold you back—reach out, ask your questions, and see if hosting could be an incredible opportunity for your family! I can personally say it’s one of the most rewarding things we’ve ever done. 🌍✨

Students arrive in August and are ready to start their American adventure! 🇺🇸 They all speak English, have medical insurance, and their own spending money—they just need a family to welcome them into their home and community. 🏡 All family types can host—single parents, empty nesters, young families, and families with teens (students can share a room with a same-s*x, same-age host sibling). 💖 Message me today to learn more and take the first step toward an unforgettable experience! ✨
