Hi Everyone!

Please share with your family and friends who can donate coats, scarves, gloves, mittens, hats, etc. I am really needing some donations. I would really like to help make a difference for those who are not able to get their own coats and stuff. Right now, I don't have enough coats to share with others. Please Help!

Last night I stood in the stands of a football game. I had a band uniform on but yet my hands got cold. My mom said tons of people got hot chocolate at the concession stand and were complaining how cold it was. I think it was like 50 degrees.

Imagine how people are going to feel when its 35 degrees. Imagine the kid who has to wait for a bus and doesn't have a coat to wear.

Are you able to help by going through that extra closet and donate those extra coats, gloves/mittens, scarves and stocking caps? Would you please help me help others?

We already have requests coming in. There will be more soon! Please help!

This weekend, if you have a moment or two, take a look in those closets. Do you have coats and jackets you don't wear anymore? Did you happen to put on the COVID-19 "19"? If so, let's get those coats on people who are going to need them in a month or two.

2 - XL (adult) coats for males ages 15 & 16
1 - XL (youth) coat for 12 year old (gender neutral, please)
1 - M (youth) coat for 7 year old (gender neutral, please)

Operation Closet Clean

Operation Closet Clean is an opportunity for those who have unwanted coats, jackets, scarves, mittens, and gloves in the Krum/Denton area to donate them for a great cause – Clothing our Neighbors.

Operation Closet Clean will set up a registration site for those who need outerwear for the cooler months ahead. Donations received will then be matched with those who are in need. Donation sites will be set up in the area and volunteers will be needed to deliver and/or meet up with those who have been matched.

Collections for 2022will occur from October 3 – November 18th. Following this time, for those who have not been matched, a special request will be made for donations. For those extra items collected, they will be donated to local shelters.

Please have the outwear clean, smoke free, pet hair free and free of stains, etc. To donate outerwear, please send a message through messenger or post on the page.
