🚨 URGENT: Hit by a Car — Family Had to Surrender Him Because They Couldn’t Afford Treatment 😢

This sweet boy was run over by a car in Tulia. His family had no way to cover the massive vet bills, so they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him.

Look at him. Broken, in pain, but still looking at us with those trusting eyes. Our team at Street Dogs of Tule Creek is stepping up to give him the fighting chance he deserves. So off to the hospital we go.

He needs emergency veterinary care — surgery, pain management, antibiotics, wound care, and a long road to recovery. This will NOT be a cheap rescue. X-rays, possible amputation or reconstructive surgery, meds, and aftercare could easily run into thousands of dollars.

We’re a small, volunteer-driven rescue doing everything we can for the street dogs and surrendered pups in our area (Kress, Tulia, Happy, and beyond). But we can’t do it without YOU.

❤️ If you can donate even $5, $10, or $20 — every single dollar helps save his life.

🐶 Big Wins at Street Dogs of Tule Creek! 🐾

Our FIRST spay and neuter clinic kicked off with huge success! We’re so pleased with how smoothly everything ran and especially grateful to all the responsible pet owners who showed up on time and worked with us so cooperatively. You made this first event a real win for the dogs and our community! ❤️

If you missed the first clinic, don’t worry — we’re already planning the SECOND clinic in July! This is a wonderful opportunity to get your dogs and cats spayed or neutered at a low cost. Spots will fill up fast, so please sign up soon!

For those who weren’t able to see the facility due to limited space and surgeon capacity, here are some photos of our new Kress location:

Thank you again to everyone who participated, our dedicated volunteers, and our generous partners. Together we’re making a real difference — one healthy pet at a time!

Exciting News for Swisher County Pet Owners! 🐶🐱

Street Dogs of Tule Creek is proud to announce our very first spay/neuter clinic happening tomorrow, Saturday, June 6th, 2026!

In partnership with Live Oaks Mobile Animal Hospital, we’re set to help about 35 animals in just one day — and this is only the beginning! We already have the second clinic in the works.

THE FIRST CLINIC IS FULL AND HAS ALREADY BEEN SCHEDULED. WILL NOT BE TAKING WALK INS.

Reminder to everyone scheduled for tomorrow: Please make sure you bring your rabies vaccine certificate with you!

We’ve received an incredible 76 applications so far. 25 are fully completed, and roughly 35 pets are scheduled for surgery tomorrow. This response from our community has been phenomenal!

If you still want to get your pet on the list for the next clinic, now is the time to apply. While funds last, it’s only a $20 co-pay for Swisher County residents.

Apply here by scanning the QR code in the flyer 👇 or share this post with friends and neighbors who have pets that need this done.

Spaying and neutering helps:
• Reduce roaming & aggression
• Decrease overpopulation
• Increase lifespan (3-5 years!)
• Lower cancer risks
• Reduce spraying & marking

Let’s keep building a healthier, happier community for our animals and families. Thank you to everyone who has applied and supported us — this is what community looks like!

Tulia Animal Control Advocates and Paws Pet Adoption of Plainview thank yall for all the hard work yall have also put in for helping people schedule their surgeries.
