On behalf of the Wreaths Across America organization and our family of volunteers and supporters, THANK YOU! Thank you for supporting our mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.

This year’s Wreaths Across America program reached an extraordinary milestone. Together, we served 5,598 participating locations, sponsored more than 3.1 million veterans’ wreaths, and mobilized millions of volunteers, nearly a third of them children, across all 50 states and abroad.

Wreaths Across America This Saturday at 10:00 am, a wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Kremmling Cemetery, and the community is invited to attend and participate. The event will be followed by a potluck at the Extension Hall. Please join us!

🇺🇸 In recognition of your service, Grand County Colorado Veterans and a guest are invited to breakfast at Snow Mountain Ranch on Veteran’s Day, Tuesday, November 11th. 🇺🇸

Breakfast and the program will take place in the Camper’s Hub Building at YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA Nordic Center.

This year’s keynote speaker Blackhorse Helicopter Pilot and U.S. Army Lt. Colonel Charley Watkins.

Deadline is 10/31 for 6-8th grade Patriots Pen and 9th-12th grade Voice of Democracy submissions! Theme is, "How are you showing patriotism and support for country?" Local winners earn $250 or $500 and are asked to read submissions at Wreath's Across America, Dec 13th in Kremmling. Local winners also advance for a chance at greater scholarships! Help promote patriotism among our youth by encouraging them to enter!

The deadline for the VFW Patriot's Pen and Voice of Democracy contests is only TWO WEEKS AWAY. Make sure your local students are working on their entries now, as they must be submitted to Posts no later than the October 31 deadline. This fortnight will fly by, so remind your local school teachers, parents and communities today!
