This is a peaceful, family oriented march. In other words, "What would Mr. Rogers' do in his neighborhood?"
This event is dedicated to peaceful, family-friendly advocacy. I ask that all participants share this focus.
While I acknowledge the unrest of the current political climate, this march is one opportunity among many to advocate for our democracy. Be sure to engage in other advocacy efforts to avoid thinking this march is "all or nothing." In other words, save some energy for the ongoing fight for our democracy and liberties.
To ensure the march remains focused and safe, the organizer reserves the right to ask any non-compliant participant to leave.
As the president escalates his authoritarian power grab, the NO KINGS non-violent movement continues to rise stronger. We are united once again to remind the world: America has No Kings and the power belongs to the people.
