Kokomo Rotarian and Mayor Tyler Moore this morning walked club members through the extensive vetting and negotiation process city administration went through to welcome Digital Reality to Howard County.
Tyler recognized the process and final decision raised concerns, questions and misinformation about data centers and their local impact. He stressed however that all concerns - be they reflect environmental impact, noise levels, or potentially negative short- and long-term economic implications - were brought forward during the investigation and negotiation process with Digital Reality.
There will be an open house from 2 to 4 pm this Saturday at Big Ben Coffee where city and Digital Reality representatives will be available to answer questions from attendees.

Rotarians packing!
Kokomo Rotarians helped pack bags of food for area school children via the United Way’s Buddy Bags program.
Participating Rotarians were Chuck Bartholomew, Alan Girton, Demian Harvey, Ben Stout, Laura LaManna, Lisa Collins and Josh Walden.
