Sunday Sit Down with Gary R Rhinebarger, Executive Director.

I have been serving over two years as Executive Director of Meals on Wheels in Kokomo. It’s been an incredible journey—but most people still don’t fully understand how this vital service works.

We deliver fresh, hot, and cold meals Monday through Friday to neighbors who are homebound or unable to access food on their own. These meals are prepared daily at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital and delivered between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM by our amazing volunteer drivers.

We are always in need of volunteer drivers. It only takes 1 hour a day—but that hour of kindness can make someone’s entire day. Just knowing a meal is coming brings comfort, dignity, and hope.
