Another Buddy Bags school year has come to an end ❤️

This year, approximately 300 local children across six schools received weekend food through Buddy Bags each week.

That happens when a volunteer spends their lunch hour packing food.

It happens when someone takes time out of their day to make a delivery.

It happens when a donor chooses to support local children.

It happens when a business says, "We'll help."

Because of people like you, local children had food they could count on when school was out on the weekends.

To everyone who packed, delivered, donated, volunteered, advocated, or supported Buddy Bags in any way: thank you. You are the reason this program exists. ❤️

As we begin planning for next school year, we're looking for individuals, businesses, churches, civic groups, and organizations that would like to get involved or continue their involvement. Tipton County families - final week to register for the summer food program! Stop by or call the Family Resource Center Tipton County, Indiana to get registered

🚨⏰ FINAL WEEK TO REGISTER! ⏰🚨

Tipton County families, time is running out! This is the LAST WEEK to register for the 2026 Summer Food Bag Program at the Tipton County Family Resource Center.

🍎🥫 The Summer Food Bag Program helps provide supplemental food to families with children aged 0-17 during the summer months when school meals are not available.

Need to register? We’re making it as easy as possible!

📍 Family Resource Center Open Hours
• Tuesday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Thursday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

📍 Special Registration Opportunity
FRC staff will be at the Tipton Elementary School office on Wednesday from 1:00–3:30 p.m. If you're picking up your child and still need to register, stop by and see us!

📞 Can't make it during those times? Call or text us at (765)667-7001 to schedule an appointment.

If your family could benefit from this program, we encourage you to register before the deadline. We want to make sure every family has the opportunity to participate this summer. 💙

We’re proud to provide Buddy Bags to Howard Elementary and other elementary schools across the county! Together with our community’s support, we’re able to provide Buddy Bags to students each week during the school year, giving them a bag of food to take home on the weekends. In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday, May 25th, as we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Our office will remain open the rest of this week and will re-open Tuesday, May 26th.
