Meet Ashley, one of our Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. Ashley brings over 10 years of experience in behavioral health and 4 years of experience as a nurse practitioner to our team. She received her degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Prior to working as a nurse practitioner, Ashley worked as a licensed mental health counselor for several years.

Ashley says: “Mental health has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy being able to help people through difficult phases of their life. Seeing people grow and thrive despite the challenges they have faced is incredible. I’m grateful to be a small part of their stories.” Ashley is a a mom to two boys and in her free time, she enjoys photography, spending time in nature, and reading. Thank you for being a part of our team, Ashley, and for all the great work you do!

These include the medication management clinic, where our PMHNPs can help you with managing medications for mental health concerns and addiction; one on one therapy or IOP therapy groups for ongoing mental support; and peer coaching for addiction recovery.

We are proud of our patient survey results! For our outpatient services, our total score is 91 out of 100 for patient satisfaction. In the survey, patients repeatedly praised front-desk and clinical staff for making them feel welcomed, safe, and heard. For our residential unit, our score is even higher: 96 out of 100.

Thank you to all of our patients who complete the surveys and offer positive and constructive feedback! We are grateful to care for our patients and proud of our staff who make them feel welcome.

Take a few moments each day to practice gratitude by reflecting on 3 things you are thankful for, no matter how small. When stress or challenges arise, use healthy coping skills such as deep breathing, calling a supportive person, journaling, or taking a walk. These strategies will prepare you to handle difficult moments while staying focused on your recovery goals.

Starting conversations about su***de can be difficult, but it could be just the thing that gives someone hope and offers a space to be honest about their feelings. Discussing su***de is not harmful, silence is. Join us in prevention efforts by keeping an eye out for the warning signs of su***de and start conversations with those who might be struggling. Let them know that they are not alone and that help is always available!
