FORECAST SNOWFALL (Posted morning of 1/30) - Snow showers begin this afternoon but accumulation will really start to ramp up overnight into tomorrow. Many areas across East TN will be waking up to a winter wonderland tomorrow morning with lots of light fluffy snow.

A heartfelt thank you is expressed to all of the volunteers who gave their time on a rainy morning to clean up the wreaths at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery & Lyons View Veterans Cemetery. The process was executed efficiently, thanks to the collective efforts of all involved. The East Tennessee State Veterans & Lyons View Cemeteries staff are deserving of special recognition for all their support and assistance. The South Doyle Baseball team members, their parents, and coaches also merit appreciation for their contributions.

Good day to you all,
This is a reminder that the Wreaths cleanup for East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery and Lyons View Veterans Cemetery will take place tomorrow, December 10th, at 09:00. Please be aware that rain is possible; volunteers are encouraged to dress accordingly with rain jackets, boots, and/or gloves. Regardless of weather conditions, the wreaths will be cleaned up as planned. We look forward to welcoming all participants.

Good evening. We hope you are having a positive start to the New Year.
We are seeking volunteers to assist with wreath removal at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Gov John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville) and Lyons View Veterans Cemetery (5901 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville). Volunteers with trucks and broom stick handles are especially appreciated, and we recommend wearing gloves for safety and efficiency 😊. The process is expected to be smooth and quick.
The scheduled date and time for both locations is January 10th at 9:00 AM. Please feel free to share this notice. We look forward to your participation.
