A BIG thank you to Todd Burnett, Manager at Powell Food City!

Todd generously donated three shopping carts to the Knox County Schools Clothing & Resource Center, and they are going to be such a helpful addition to our space!

These carts will help us sort, organize, and move clothing as we work to better serve KCS students and families.

We are so grateful for community partners who support our students and the work of the Clothing & Resource Center. Thank you, Todd and Powell Food City!

Community Support Needed

Now that the school year is in full the need for clothing and essential items is growing. The Clothing and Resource Center (CRC) is currently in need of several items to help fulfill orders for local students.

Items needed include:

* New boys’ underwear in sizes Large and X-Large
* New girls’ underwear in sizes Large and X-Large
* Girls’ socks
* Boys’ bottoms in sizes Med–XL, with athletic wear preferred

We have created an Amazon Wish List featuring items that are currently needed. Donations can also be dropped off at the CRC Monday–Friday, from 8 a.m.–3 p.m.

Your generosity helps ensure that students have the clothing and essentials they need to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn. Thank you for supporting children in our community!

A big thank you to The Picky Chick Consignment for once again supporting the KCS Clothing & Resource Center! ❤️

We are so grateful to have been chosen as the charity of choice for their presale event and to receive the generous donation of clothing and shoes following the sale. These items will help us continue providing much-needed clothing and resources to KCS students.

BELK CHARITY EVENT IS BACK! Purchase a ticket for $5 and get $5 off your purchase and 25% off designer brands! All ticket proceeds go directly back to the Clothing and Resource Center to help provide clothes for KCS students.

June 6th: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
June 7th: 10:00am - 2:00 pm

West Town Mall:
June 5th: 10:00am - 4:00pm
June 6th: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
June 7th: 12:00pm - 4:00pm

To purchase a ticket, contact any Knox County School social worker or pick-up a ticket the day of the event at our tables at the West Town Mall or Turkey Creek Belk locations.
