To all of our amazing Bridge Volunteers, KARM has issues the following:
What to Wear
• Closed-toe shoes: Essential for safety.
• Modest attire: Clothing should be modest, neat, and inoffensive.
• Leggings: Acceptable with a shirt that is at least fingertip length.
• Longer pants: Shorts are not allowed.
What Not to Wear
• Shorts: Prohibited for all volunteer roles.
• Tank tops or revealing tops:Should be avoided.
• Flip-flops and sandals: These are not permitted.
Why these guidelines?
• Safety: Closed-toe shoes are required for the physical nature of the work and to prevent injuries.
Thank you again for all that you do!
• Modesty: The dress code reflects the need for professional and respectful conduct while serving the needs of guests at Knox Area Rescue Ministries (https://karm.org/volunteer/).

Thank You Amazing Volunteers!

Last month was nothing short of incredible—we served 680 hotdogs and welcomed more guests than usual! Since the start of this ministry, we have served over 70,000 hotdogs to our neighbors in need.

A huge round of thanks goes to:
Tom Quinones, Paul Goodale, Fred Frietag, Phil LaNasa, Claudia Grill, Paige Goodale, Paul and Paige Goodale, Tony Mamome, Jay and Marie Branch, Brian May, and Sid Plemons. Your generous contributions of food, drinks, condiments, and your time are what make these events so special.

Special thanks also to St. Thomas Youth Group and their director Joel for donating 8 tubs of ice cream, a sweet treat that our guests loved! We also went through 10 cases of water, which shows just how many people we were able to serve on a hot day.

And let’s not forget our amazing volunteers, 47 strong last month, who made it all happen. We couldn’t do this without you!h🫶

Serving the Body & Soul
Our next Bridge Ministry is happening on Sunday, July 27, and we’d love for you to join us! Please plan to arrive by 10:30 AM and stay until about 1:00 PM as we come together to serve smiles, hot meals, and hope to our community. Everyone is welcome to take part in this meaningful mission.
