It’s popcorn time 🍿, and our Scouts have been so busy around town! Selling popcorn funds all of our pack’s activities, including Fall and Spring campouts 🏕️; Pinewood Derby track, cars, and trophies 🏎️💨🏆 ; rank badges, belt loops, and celebratory awards 🥇🎉 ; and so much more! 70% of all popcorn sales stay local to directly support Pack 346. Thank you to our friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues for supporting the Scouts🥰💙💛!

Back to Pack Pool Party fun!!! 🏊🤿☀️ We’re getting back to school and back to den meetings this month. An evening of pizza and swim is a perfect way to get into the swing of things!

Pack 346 scouts were able to fit in a few more activities before going back to school tomorrow! We biked 17 miles on the Virginia Creeper Trail in Abingdon, Virginia, and we hiked to Baskins Creek Falls in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It’s been an awesome summer!!!

Summer may be winding down, but Pack 346 scouts are still going strong! We had a super fun tubing adventure last weekend 🦦🤿💦🛶. And we’re headed out for a hike tomorrow 🥾⛰️. We hope all our scouts are finding awesome adventures this summer break!

Pack 346 is having a great summer! 🌖🥾 We got together last night for a ranger-led night hike at Seven Islands State Birding Park to see the park’s 4 different species of fireflies and tons of spiders. 🕷️

What a great end of the year celebration and award ceremony! In addition to the den advancements, we also had some special presentations. The Bear den kicked off the event with the flag ceremony followed by a “Scouter’s Minute” from Brad Anderson who reminded the Scouts to “Do your best!” in everything you do. We had a special guest, Pack 508 Cub Master Jessica Rohden, who was exited to receive our donated trailer so her Pack can take on lots of new adventures. Then we celebrated our Cub Master Jesse Misner’s Wood Badge with a beading ceremony. Congrats Scouts! Have a great summer!!!

For our last den meeting of the year tonight, some of our dens had special adventures. The Tiger den had a “fintastic” fishing adventure 🎣🐟. The Webelos took a hike near the river and saw a snake and some deer 🥾🐍🦌. And the Bear den did a bicycle safety adventure with some safe speeding through the park 🚴💨.

🌧️🏕️The rain didn’t stop us from having the best Pack 346 Spring Campout this weekend at Fall Creek Falls! We did it all! A nature hike, a trail cleanup, crafts, nature activities, and a campfire with skits, stories, and songs. Thanks to our amazing leaders, volunteers, scouts, and families for making it a memorable time for everyone!

So many adventures! Our Webelos den has been busy the past few weeks — a fishing adventure, an art and sculpting adventure, and then tonight a park cleanup, reminding us that a Scout is helpful!
