Knoxville Community Chorus

Knoxville Community Chorus Featuring voices from throughout Marion County, Knoxville Community Chorus invites you to lend us your voice as we perform and share our love of music.

Knoxville Community Chorus offers all members of the Knoxville, Iowa and surrounding communities the opportunity to share in the joy of performing vocal music with a group. Everyone is welcome, no auditions are required. The chorus performs concerts for Christmas and Spring, as well as other performances for community events.

Knoxville Community chorus concerts will be on Friday, March 28th starting at 7pm, and Sunday, March 30th, starting at 2pm. Both concerts will be at the First United Methodist Church in Knoxville.

The winter concert was a roaring success with wonderful performances by the Community Chorus and the KHS Chamber Choir last Friday evening and today at the First Methodist Church. The Chorus will resume practices for the spring concert in January 2025. If you would like to join us and enjoy singing and fellowship we will be meeting on Tuesday evenings. Come share your talents. We wish you a warm holiday season and a happy New Year.

The holiday season is rushing from Thanksgiving to Christmas too quickly. We are remiss to give advance notice of our winter concert which is tonight at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm at the Methodist Church. Come join the chorus and the KHS madrigal choir as they sing songs of the season. The KCC is under the direction of Cynthia Thill and the Madrigal Choir directed by Ian Heetland.
