Hi faithful sponsors and Happy 4th!! I have bad news and good news- Good news is I have a full time internship this summer, but the bad news is that means I am unable to coordinate First Day this year. HOWEVER, we all know how much need is in our community! My mom has begun volunteering at Western Heights and they will be having a "store" the first week in August for their kids (they have about 400 who live there) to come shop for their needs! Please let me know if you would like to shop and donate to them and my family and I can coordinate picking up from you! We are praying about operating First Day there next summer! First Day is a project I created to help local community kids at the Vestal Boys and Girls club get ready for school. All donations go to those who need it most, in an effort to give them a level playing field with the rest of the kids their age.
