2024 is slowly drawing to an end🕰️, and the start of the new year🥳, 2025, is gradually coming upon us. As you take your time, to reflect on how this year has been for you; the goals you planned to achieve, the habits you were to embark on and /or stop, the skills you planned to learn, the list is quite endless✍️.
I hope you “choose” not to beat yourself up by blaming yourself and/or others; speaking negatively over yourself and/or your situation, and /or comparing your state to that of others you “think” have gone ahead of you, or are doing better, based on what they portray/show off, which are all easier to do, and sometimes, we can’t help doing those, when we feel like, we fell-short in “remarkable” ways. I’ve been there, so you are not alone✍️.
I hope you realize, that what is important and what really matters is your ability to “acknowledge” your “identity” first, and then, the “why” behind the things that went right or wrong, because, there is always a “why”, and in doing so, taking the “actual” steps to start off an immediate plan, even before the new year starts. This is what I’ve been doing for the past few weeks, because I already told myself, that “2024,”“cannot” be like “2025”.
I was just listening to the book📖 “Atomic habits” by “James Clear”, and I decided to pause, and share this thought that came across my mind😎.
This is just a kind reminder, to us all, to be kind to ourselves, as well as to others, no matter where we think we are in our journey, regardless🙏. If you are not kind to yourself, it might be really hard for you, to be kind to others, because we can’t give what we don’t have👌.
