40% of U.S. families with young children can't afford enough diapers. That's already hard to sit with. Then you see the rest of the numbers. 🩷 For Hispanic families, the rate climbs to 49%. For Black families, it reaches 63%. The need is real across the board, and it is not distributed equally. This is what Helping Mamas is here to address, every single day.

Back to school season is coming, and we're on a mission. 🩷 1 in 4 students in the U.S. can't afford school supplies, and that gap shows up in their grades, their confidence, and whether they even show up at all. We're collecting backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, and more to make sure the kids our partners serve walk through that door ready. Donate supplies, shop our wishlist, or give monetarily so we can fill the gaps.

Our Executive Director Tess Frear recently spoke at the University of Tennessee Leadership Conference, where UT employees, community leaders, and industry partners gathered to grow, connect, and inspire one another under the theme of "Empower." Tess shared the heart behind Helping Mamas — the families we serve, the essentials we provide, and the partners who make it all possible.
