1️⃣6️⃣0️⃣ runners. 1️⃣ goalpost. 1️⃣ trophy made by insPYRE.

Today at the Red Bull Championship Run in Knoxville, every heat is 2 runners sprinting up an inclined goalpost for the flag. The top 8 go into a head-to-head bracket.

Co-Directors Preston Farabow & Joe Hall are at the event - building a one-of-a-kind trophy for the winner.

Speed, balance & sheer will. That's what it takes to earn this.

Who's grabbing the flag? Drop your pick below! 🔥

⚒️ Week 8 of 15 for Cohort 001. ⚒️

insPYRE students from Susannah's House helped set the horizontal bandsaw in the shop & made their first cuts on it.

If you hire in fabrication, you know what that's worth. Someone who can set a machine is someone you don't have to teach from scratch.

Just seven weeks left!

Week 7: two commissions out the door.

Cohort 001 finished the Red Bull Gym Clash Final trophy & built The Survivor Tree in the same week.

One is lifted overhead by the strongest people in the country. The other honors a heaviness that every American carries.

They are making things for people who will never meet them, and doing it anyway.

Same hands. Same fire. Drop a 🔥 if you have felt that in your own work.

You may not be there in person. But you're there.

On Friday, September 11, insPYRE builds a Survivor Tree from sheet metal, live at World's Fair Park in Knoxville, one Leaf at a time.

Every Leaf on it carries initials:
🍃 Green Leaf - $10
🍂 Silver or Copper Leaf - $20
🔑 Any Leaf mailed to you as a keychain - $30 (Just message insPYRE your address after you give.)

💸Want to give a little less or a whole lot more? Enter any amount - your Leaf comes with it.💸

Here's how to take part:
1️⃣ Pick your Leaf.
2️⃣ Donate via the link in the comments.
3️⃣ DM insPYRE with up to 4 initials & the Leaf you chose. (If you want it mailed to you, be sure to include your mailing address, too.)

Thin metal. 25 years. One Tree that wouldn't quit.

🍃Tag someone who should have a Leaf on this Tree! 🍃
