The Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers bi-month Breakfast Gathering is Saturday morning at 8:00 AM at the Study Room of Chick-Fil-A on Kingston Pike at Homberg.

Please try to come and have breakfast and hear our guest speakers Johnny McCoy (retired KPD) and Bob Crichton Temple Baptist Church.

We begin at 8:00am with social time breakfast then the speakers will share in conversation with us.

We welcome each of you to invite a brother or sister involved in law enforcement with you to this gathering.

Please join us if you can. We should have a really good one tomorrow. Lt. Brandon Ingram is leading the study and he always works hard to help us dive into the Word. Don't worry if this is your first visit, you'll fit right in with the discussion. You will never be called upon to pray out loud.

6:30am this morning we had a great Men's Small Group Bible Study. The topic was righteous anger and how God wants to mold that anger within our faith. I have been dealing, for the past two weeks, with anger and discouragement towards government, child abusers, drug abusers and the selfish desires of people. My brothers in the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers group helped me figure out how to have faith and pray for these people with a whole new insight.

My fellow Christian Friends. Take 1 minute and go humbly into the presence of God and read this scripture. Then immediately say a prayer of repentance, forgiveness and ask God what he would have you do, then answer the call. As Patrick Morley (Chairman and Co-CEO of Man In The Mirror) suggest, God calls for us to be Faithful, not to produce a particular outcome.

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. - 2 Chronicles 7:14
