If you are wanting to become an official, if you know someone who wishes to become an official, KYA is committed to creating a great officials base in TN so much that if the official meets a couple criteria - we will pay for their first year of being an official! What criteria?

1) Have to commit to working at least five track meets this spring/summer for any team including one summer Tennessee USATF/AAU meet. These meets are the lifeblood of our sport!
2) Commit to passing the USATF official's exam by April 1 - two months from today!
3) Notify us before you start so we can help guide you through the process and reimbursement.

Congratulations and appreciation to Oak Ridge HS Head Coach Ed Wright for designing the newest course in the Metro Knoxville area. Yesterday he directed the inaugural meet there called The Mounds #1 and it was a smashing success. Great job Ed. Looking forward to many more meets there.
