What a fantastic Pi Day Pie Contest! 🥧
There were so many creative and delicious pies — if you missed it, you really missed out!

Huge thanks to all the contestants for bringing their A-game and baking such incredible pies.

A big round of applause to our wonderful judges: Dale, former owner of Dale’s Fried Pies; Jessica, Farm & Community Gardens Manager at Beardsley Farm; Laura, Culinary Director at Cruze Farm; and Meade, owner of Mother’s Daughter Bread

Thank you to Savage Photo for capturing the event (not the photos in this post!) — we can’t wait to see them!

Slices from VG's Bakery and Heidi’s were absolutely delicious too.

And a very special thank you to Barrelhouse and the amazing staff — we truly appreciate your support. You have the nicest team!

Our next gathering is a potluck on Monday, March 30 at the Hi-Wire rooftop. Bring something to share and come hang out! Let’s talk about Pesto Festo and Slow Food. 🌿

While the pies are being judged, grab some lunch and enjoy delicious ciders.
🏆 Winners will be announced as soon as the judges finish deliberating.
See you there — and may the best pie win!

🥧 In addition to the contest, we’ll have locally sourced pies, fresh milk, and coffee available for purchase.
