Time for submission of 2024 KADC dues and membership form to begin.
Please carefully read and complete the form. Notice that due to increased expenses necessary to keep all club services and opportunities available to members our dues have increased slightly .
For all of the benefits it is still the best bargain around !!
Please fill out the form completely and print clearly . We look forward to renewal of all current members and welcome all new members. For those who cannot easily attend the in person meetings , a zoom invitation is sent to members in good standing.

Saturday October 28th 2023, KADC did two playouts. The morning event was the Marble Springs Fall Frolic. The afternoon event was at the Racheff House Fall festival.

Howard Hickman was appointed to handle Club Communications. We thank Vera Wortman for carrying this role for the past several years.
I wish to thank board members rolling off at the end of this year: Sandra Lambert, Claire Meggs, Christine Hoyer, Les Williams, and Vicky Braden for their participation on the board this year.
Holly Gwin will continue as our newsletter editor.
Nancy Basford keeps our registration/welcome table going and,
Mark Reda has continued to provide us jam leadership and audio/video support like a champ, even with open heart surgery this year!

Knoxville Area Dulcimer Club members played music on the porch today at the Heritage Center in Townsend, TN.

In the novice lap dulcimer class, Christy Bock will work with participants on songs that use more than
just the melody string. The songs will include I’ll Fly Away and Heartbeat. Holly Gwin will work with the beginning hammered dulcimer class on using rolled chords as accompaniment to Amazing Grace and learning the melody of What Child Is This.
We will meet at Second United Methodist Church, 1524 Western Avenue.
